About the Youngsville Fire Department
Founded in 1959, the Youngsville Fire Department proudly serves the City of Youngsville and surrounding areas throughout Lafayette Parish. For more than six decades, the department has remained committed to protecting lives, property, and the community through professional emergency services and public safety programs.
The department maintains Automatic Aid Agreements with the Milton Fire Department and Broussard Fire Department, ensuring additional personnel and apparatus are dispatched to structure fires and structure fire alarms. These partnerships enhance emergency response capabilities and provide residents with the highest level of service possible through regional cooperation.
The Youngsville Fire Department provides a wide range of services, including fire suppression, rescue operations, emergency medical response, fire prevention, public education, and community risk reduction. From responding to fires and vehicle accidents to conducting inspections and educating the public on fire safety, the department is dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of one of Louisiana's fastest-growing communities.
Our firefighters and staff are committed to professionalism, training, and service excellence. Whether responding to emergencies, participating in community events, or promoting fire safety awareness, the members of the Youngsville Fire Department strive to uphold the values that have guided the department since its founding.
Pride. Service. Dedication
These principles define who we are and reflect our commitment to serving the citizens and visitors of Youngsville every day.
